An editor which displays classes, instances and properties present in an amphorae ABox dataset as if the data were structured by table in a relational database. By reading the ABox, the editor is able to display the classes present in the ontology, all their instances and offers a simple and dynamic way to display data properties as normal fields of these instances and the possibility to modify them (an also, as we are in ontology context, to add or remove fields).
In this work we have opted for the two modes of representation: 2D using the orthophotos themselves generated from the 3D models resulting from photogrammetric surveys. The website is powered by the Xlendi artefact dataset stored in ontologies extended by Sparql queries.
It should be noted that during the past two years of IMARECULTURE project, the University of Malta have decided to continue Xlendi excavation which requires adding new data in the framework of IMARECULTURE. Hence, we have enriched the work of successive surveys by participating in campaigns each year. We were able to obtain successive temporal states of the same site and propose a considerable improvement of the system which now allows to manage and interrogate the site in a spatio-temporal context. The website is powered by the Xlendi temporal datasets stored in ontologies extended by Sparql queries.
